I’ve loved me some Cube ever since I rented the VHS from my video store in 1998. I have to say, I also enjoy the sequels but consider them something like ‘fan fiction.’ You don’t have to take them as canon (especially since Natali wasn’t involved) but they both post amusing theories about what the Cube could have been.

Can you believe I have never seen a single one of these films. I feel ashamed now. Maybe when I get down with the Zombies… I’ll watch the first one.

Yeah, I’ve seen both of the other films too. Agree that Cube 2 sucks because they ruin all of the mystery by giving you spoon-fed answers. It’s been a while since I’ve seen that one or Cube Zero, though. Maybe I should revisit those as well.

Yeah Let’s go this was a bizarre one. I always go back and forth as to if the author did a good jump with it or did he just have some strange unresolved fantasies about his baby sitter. Then there’s the last chapter which tries to tack on some metaphysical message…ugh, not the best writing but definitely a read I won’t ever forget

Yeah, it amazing me how many people that used to work for Romero just became Romero Parasites. This one is extraordinarily ripped off, but still fun non the less

Yup, this is a cheap ripoff but having grown up renting it every few months, I heartily agree that it has its charms. Just good old fashioned ’80s zombies fun.

It’s a remarkably ugly novel, and I’m not surprised that a number of Amazon reviewers admit to having destroyed their copies after reading it (even whilst giving it high marks).

I couldn’t read it without the television on in the background playing fluffy sitcoms or harmless procedural dramas. I just didn’t want to be left alone with this book.
